This Privacy Policy explains how OOTD AI, Inc. ("Saashi," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use Saashi, which includes our mobile app, our website at saashi.ai, and related services (together, the "Service"). Saashi is an AI personal stylist that helps you organize your wardrobe, plan outfits, and get styling suggestions.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us, information we collect automatically, and information we receive from third parties.

Information you provide

Account information: your name, email address, and the credentials you use to sign in, including through Apple or Google.
Your content: the photos and images you upload (for example, pictures of your clothing), together with the outfits, notes, style preferences, and fit details you choose to add, and the messages you exchange with Saashi. We use this to provide and personalize the Service.
Voice recordings: when you use voice input (speak-to-type), we record the audio and send it to our transcription provider, ElevenLabs, to convert your speech to text.
Support and feedback: the information you include when you contact us or send feedback.

Information we collect automatically

Device and usage data: device type and operating system, app version, identifiers, IP address, and how you interact with the Service (features used, actions taken, and diagnostics such as crashes and performance).
Analytics and session replay: we use analytics tools, including PostHog, to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. This includes session replays that record your on-screen activity. We mask the text you type, but these replays do capture images shown on screen, including your outfit photos.
Approximate location: we or our providers may infer a general location, such as your city or region, from your IP address. We do not collect precise location unless you grant permission.
Cookies and similar technologies: on our website, we and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics. You can control these through your browser settings.

Information from third parties

Sign-in providers: when you sign in through a service like Apple or Google, we receive basic profile information (such as your name and email, or a relay email if you choose to hide it), but never your password.
Google Calendar: if you choose to connect a Google Calendar, we receive information from your Google Account as described under "Google Calendar data" below.
Service providers: our analytics and infrastructure providers may share information with us to help us operate and improve the Service.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

provide, maintain, and personalize the Service, including organizing your wardrobe and generating styling suggestions for you;
develop, train, and improve our features and models, including the AI models used to power styling (see "AI and model improvement" below);
provide customer support and respond to your requests;
communicate with you about the Service, including service updates and, with your permission, marketing;
keep the Service safe and secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms;
comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others;
create aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer be used to identify you.

AI and model improvement

Saashi uses artificial intelligence to power features such as styling advice, wardrobe analysis, and voice input. To provide these features, we share the content you give us, such as your messages, photos, and voice recordings, with third-party AI providers. Today those providers are Anthropic, Google, and ElevenLabs, and we may add or change providers over time. We share only what is needed to generate your results, and we require these providers to protect your information and use it only to provide the service to us. We may also use your content and interactions to improve and train our own styling models. If you have questions about how we use your information, contact us at support@saashi.ai.

Google Calendar data

Connecting a Google Calendar is optional. Saashi uses it for one purpose: to know what your day looks like so it can suggest an outfit that suits it. You can use everything else in the Service without connecting a calendar.

What we access. If you connect a calendar, you grant Saashi two read-only permissions: one to see the list of calendars in your Google Account, and one to see the events on the calendars you enable. We request read-only access only. Saashi cannot create, edit, or delete anything in your calendar, and it cannot access your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.

What we use it for. We show you your list of calendars so you can pick which ones Saashi should look at. For the calendars you enable, we read upcoming events — their title, description, location, and start and end times — and use them to tailor your outfit suggestions to what you actually have on, such as dressing for a dinner reservation or an outdoor meeting.

How we store it. We do not store your calendar events. We fetch them from Google when we need them, use them to generate your suggestion, and do not write them to our database. What we do store is your Google Account email address, the access credentials for the connection, and the list of calendars you chose to enable, including their names and colors. Access credentials are encrypted at rest.

How we share it. To generate a suggestion, we send the relevant event details to the AI providers described under "AI and model improvement." We share only what is needed to produce your result. We do not sell calendar data, use it for advertising, or use it to train our own styling models.

How to remove it. You can disconnect a calendar at any time in the App. When you do, we ask Google to revoke our access and we delete the stored connection and calendar list. Because we never stored your events, there are none to delete. You can also revoke Saashi's access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting a calendar does not sign you out of Saashi; Google Sign-In is a separate permission.

Limited Use. Saashi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited ways:

Service providers: companies that host our infrastructure, provide AI and analytics, deliver notifications, and otherwise help us run the Service, under obligations to protect your information and use it only for us.
When you share: if you choose to share a link to a conversation, outfit, or other content (for example, a link that opens on saashi.ai), the content you share may be viewable by anyone who has the link. Please share only content you are comfortable making accessible this way.
Legal and safety: when we believe it is necessary to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Saashi, our users, or others.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
With your consent: in other ways you direct or agree to.

Your choices and rights

Access, correction, and deletion: you can view and update much of your information in the App, and you can delete your account at any time. You can also contact us at support@saashi.ai to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal limits.
Photos and camera: the Service asks for permission before accessing your photo library or camera. You can change these permissions in your device settings.
Google Calendar: connecting a calendar is optional, and you can disconnect it at any time in the App or from your Google Account. See "Google Calendar data" above.
Push notifications: you can turn off push notifications in your device settings.
Marketing: you can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link. We will still send essential service messages.
Cookies: you can control cookies through your browser settings.

Depending on your state, you may have additional rights, described under "Your U.S. state privacy rights" below.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as long as necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements. When we no longer need your information, we delete or de-identify it. Content stored in backups may persist for a limited time after deletion.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@saashi.ai and we will delete it.

Your U.S. state privacy rights

Saashi is offered only in the United States. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@saashi.ai, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting a notice in the App or on the Site or by updating the date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted.
